All About Me
Past.
I was raised in La Quinta, California. I was the captian of my high school varsity basketball team and spent most of my 4 years focused on growing in this sport as much as I could. I learned a lot on how to be coachable and disciplined. In addition, I was also a yearbook editor and took all honors and advanced placement classes. I graduated number eleven in my class!
Present.
I am currently a senior undergraduate at BIOLA University, located in southeast Los Angeles County, studying Business Administration, with an emphasis in Business Management. I have worked two to three jobs every year totaling about thirty-two hours a week and it has taught me the utmost time management skills. The summer before my senior year I was an intern for Target. At the completion of my ten week program I was offered a job in Target management upon graduation. Currently, I work at Target part-time as an extended intern learning the most I can about team building and leadership skills. I recently got engaged and am so SO stoked to begin this new adventure with my soon to be husband.
Future.
After graduation, I plan to step into my role as an Executive Team Lead at Target and soak up as much as I can as a a young leader. My hope is to work for them as long as I can until another door opens. There are a lot of advancements available within the same company; however, I am open to new adventures and opportunities. I love the framework that Target is built around. The focus is to create an environment where people want to and enjoy coming to work and are placed in positions that allow them to utilize their strengths and be small business owners. As a result, the overall business will be more effective and efficient. As a leader, I am passionate about devloping organizations in this similar fashion.
